Licking County Library Author Fair – April 16, 2016

I had a great time at the Author Fair this past Saturday. Though the outstanding spring weather may have kept the crushing crowds away, it was a nice day of talking to people about my books and holding great conversations with fellow authors.

At the last minute (OK, two days before), I had some thoughts on how to set up my table to get more attention. We had the black skull from the cover of Book III and a “brass” lantern like what is on the cover of Book I, so I brainstormed some other ideas for props. My son 3-D printed a large fang, which my daughter painted and decorated, and I set up some old equipment to simulate a “fairy trap” like is mentioned in Book II. We finished the painting and planning around midnight the night before the fair. See how it turned out below.

I would also like to give  shout out to my fellow authors in the “Teen Zone”.

Tracy Lawson writes a YA dystopian future series with a very cool premise. The first two books are out with the third releasing in July. Check it out.

Carol Kinsey has several stand-alone novels that will appeal to YA readers as well as those who prefer standard fiction. Under cover FBI, western romance, and young runaways can all be found in her stories.

Finally, for those that have been reading Book I through the posts on this blog, they will be going away soon. I will take them down this weekend (April 23-24), so get your downloads now.

See you next time
